EVENT OVERVIEW
The 4th annual North and South Major Championship on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour will be held at Terra Lago Golf Club in Palm Springs, CA. All players will have one (1) scheduled round on the North Course and one (1) scheduled round on the South Course.
Entry fee of $425 includes green fees, cart fees, range balls, tee prize, trophies, triple prize fund, and double Order of Merit Points
QUALIFIERS
The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn a qualifying spot in the 2020 National Championship.
NORTH COURSE
The North Course features dramatic elevation changes, stunning views, and a beautiful and challenging island green par 3 which was a featured hole during the Skins Games played at The Golf Club at Terra Lago. The view from the 7th tee box is considered one of the best in the valley, with a complete panoramic view from one end of the Coachella Valley to the other.
SOUTH COURSE
The South Course features one of the most unique and memorable holes at The Golf Club at Terra Lago. Hole # 2 is a narrow par 4 that runs along a wide canal making anything hit to the right impossible to play, as you approach the green you must cross this canal. Rather than a traditional wood bridge the designers decided to add a little flare to the experience by creating a bridge from an old rail car. This hole is affectionately known as the “Box Car” hole.

FORMAT
36-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS
When and where is on-site registration? What is the projected starting time ranges? When is the approximate time of the awards ceremony? Is it split tees, shotgun, straight tee times? Threesomes or foursomes etc
Friday, January 3 - On-site Registration & Check-In from 3PM to 4PM
Saturday, January 4 - On-site Registration & Check-In from 6AM to 8:30AM
Saturday, January 4 - 1st round of Stroke Play (7AM - 9AM)
Sunday, January 5 - Final Round of Stroke Play (7AM - 9AM)
Sunday, January 5 - Awards Ceremony immediately following play for each flight
ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
Entry fee is $425 and includes green fees, cart fees, use of practice facility, tee prize(s), trophy to the winner of each flight, generous prize fund, and scoring
ENTRY DEADLINE
The deadline for entry is on December 23 at 6PM or when the event is full at 180 players (whichever occurs first).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Players may cancel their entry up until December 23 at 6PM and incur a cancellation fee of $75. Any no-shows or withdraws after this deadline will not be refunded for any reason.
